When WITI Fox 6 TV in Milwaukee announced its 40th anniversary coat drive for November, McKey responded to the call to help people in need. McKey and its employees donated new and gently used winter coats, mittens, hats and scarves.
Our parent company, Reliance, Inc., supported 9/11 Day, an organization that distributes dry, nutritious meals to people who are at risk of hunger. Reliance sponsored Meal Packs in 16 cities, including Chicago, where many McKey employees were among the volunteers packing meals.
In honor of National Safety Month, Reliance Inc. launched its Reignite Summer Safety campaign in June. The goal was to reduce our already low employee injury rate throughout the summer, as well as to increase the number of accident-free days.
