McKey Perforating Expands Operations and Lean Manufacturing Practices
McKey Perforating Co. Inc., headquartered in Wisconsin, is a contract manufacturer of perforated and fabricated products with operations in Wisconsin and Tennessee. The company has completed a major expansion of its Manchester, Tennessee plant, which doubled the plant’s size to accommodate the double digit growth experienced following its opening in fall of 2000. As part of a lean manufacturing program, the New Berlin, Wisconsin headquarters was also recently remodeled for improved workflow and efficiencies, including the integration of its quality manufacturing and engineering departments.
